It's the small things

As I was driving home the other day from work I was thinking about all the laundry I had to do when I got home, and then I remembered that I no longer had to go to a community washing machine but I had one in my very own apartment! I was probably a little more excited than I should've been but still...

Everyone knows how awful it is when you're carrying your laundry across the courtyard and you keep thinking you've dropped something out of your basket,  (especially your underwear) so you're constantly looking behind you to make sure everything is still in there. What a relief (*Sigh*) when you make it back with everything in tact and not hanging up for everyone to see.

My New Summer Dress Shoes

So, the boss got on my back today about my choice of footwear at work. I don't know what the problem is here. I work at a Seafood Restaurant. Plus, I keep 'em on ice when I get home. Gotta stay cool in the Marco Island heat! Perfect arch support.

 

You guys have heard of that Rinspeed sQuba car they made in Switzerland right?

Yeah...same basic concept. Easy transition from land to water.

For those of you who don't know what hump day is I thought I'd clear it up by getting a definition from a very credible source so here you go:

Wednesday, or the hump of the week
The absolute BEST day of the week, the day of maximum hope that maybe, you might make it out of this week alive. A particularly good hump day can last you the rest of the week, and by Doomday morning (Monday) you survive by anticipating hump day. Nothing goes wrong on hump day

Most other days can be defined by hump day. Tuesday is the day before hump day. Thursday is one day after hump day. Except Friday is WOOOH!!! FREEDOM!!! Day, Saturday is Mostly Hungover day, and Sunday is PreDoom day.

Alright all you bloggers out there that love to laugh, here are our picks for the top 5 comedians:

1. Kevin Hart: He is quite the stand up comedian releasing his first album in 2006, and in 2011 his tour turned into a concert documentary. He's also made us laugh in some big budget films including: Scary Movie 3 and The 40-year old Virgin. 

"Alright Alright Alright!"

2. Louis CK: He has been around the comedy world since 1984 and has made appearances on Parks and Recreation, Comedy Central, and Saturday Night Live. He is the first comedian to have a film accepted into the Sundance Film Festival. 

3. Aziz Ansari: He's an American actor and one funny stand up comedian! He's in the middle of his third large tour and uses his personal life to make the audience laugh since "No else can be talking about that." 

4. Mike Epps: He's best known for his role in Next Friday and has also starred in a bunch of big name films including the Hangover! In 1995 he began his professional career as a comedian by joining the Def Comedy Jam though being a comedian came naturally to him and has been making his friends and family laugh from a young age. 

5. Chris Rock: He's been on Saturday Night Live, many HBO films, and he even hosted the 77th annual Academy Awards! He's also been voted the fifth best comedian ever by Comedy Central- you can't argue with them.
